Since 1996, we have been lucky enough to receive the support of NMB LLP:
In that time, they have:
donated £14,000 in lieu of sending company Christmas cards
donated a further £754.46 through individual staff organising fundraising events and making donations
taken part in The Virgin London Marathon with 8 of their staff using our golden bond places to raise £12,000
organised a jewellery recycling collection
In 2012:
3 more of the NMB LLP team will be competing in the Virgin London Marathon and have pledged to raise £1,750 each
They will be holding a foreign currency collection on our behalf

Offices are great locations for cake sales; finding sponsors for whatever event you may be taking part in; or for holding a jewellery recycling collection. They are a great way to communicate and get exposure for your fundraising efforts.
Many companies match funds if an employee undertakes a fundraising event, so why not contact your Human Resources department and see what they can offer.
If your company is large enough it may be that they support a charity for an extended period of time as ‘Charity of the Year’ – check out your charities committee to see what action is being taken.
Often it is a staff vote that determines which charity is going to be supported for that year, so make sure that your favourite, The Sara Lee Trust, is on the list!
