The Sara Lee Trust: a hand to hold
Providing complementary therapies, counselling and creative therapies to people in Hastings and Rother living through cancer and other serious illness; with support for their families and carers.
The Sara Lee Trust receives no statutory funding and relies solely on fundraising and voluntary donations to raise the £150,000 needed to run The Sara Lee Trust which aims to provide 2,250 treatments annually to our patients, many of whom are in palliative care.
£30 would pay for one hour’s therapy
£155 would pay for a Natural Rhythm session for up to 8 people
£531 would pay for a Sanctuary Day for 8 people

What is Gift Aid and how does it help?
Thanks to the government’s Gift Aid scheme, if you are a UK taxpayer, The Sara Lee Trust can reclaim the tax on all of the donations that you make. This means that your gifts are worth up to 20% more to us at no extra cost to you. If you pay tax on your income, savings or pension you will qualify for the Gift Aid Scheme. You must be paying at least 20p in tax for every £1 you donate. If you are able to make a donation, please consider gift-aiding. You can download our Gift Aid Form here.
What do supporters receive?
