Join our Fundraising Volunteers

Join our Fundraising Team as a Volunteer and help The Trust raise much-needed funds. Whether you love getting involved in local events or working on admin at a computer - we have roles to suit everyone in fundraising.

We're currently looking for:

Lead Volunteers - Fundraising
1 day per week (flexible, home-based)
We are looking for proactive lead volunteers to support our Community Fundraiser, working with the local community to raise funds for The Trust. This role would suit someone with experience in organising fundraising activities. Must be comfortable with some independent working and regular weekend working. Ideally based in either the Bexhill or Rye areas. A good opportunity to join a vibrant local fundraising team.

Lead Volunteer - Events
1 day per week (flexible, home-based)
We are looking for a proactive lead volunteer to support our Events Officer to deliver special fundraising events throughout the year. This role would suit somebody with some experience in managing or assisting with medium to large scale events (such as comedy/music gigs, golf days or galas); or someone wanting to gain experience in the same. Must be comfortable with some independent working and some weekend working. A good opportunity to join a vibrant local fundraising team.

Lead Volunteer - Data Administration (Fundraising)
1-2 days per week (flexible, based in main office at St Michael’s Hospice)

We are looking for a volunteer data administrator with experience of working with databases, to manage our fundraising data and data entry. Would suit someone who has worked with any CRM system in the past, or who wishes to gain CRM data management experience. You would be a part of our vibrant and busy fundraising team, and there will be lots of opportunities to learn.

We are looking for volunteers who would like to assist our Community Fundraising Officer with promoting and delivering events in your local area. A good opportunity to join a vibrant, busy fundraising team and help your local community. Would suit someone with the occasional weekend to spare.

Become an Ambassador

We are looking for good speakers who are comfortable to give talks to medium-large groups about The Sara Lee Trust. Have you or a loved-one had experience of receiving care from The Trust and would like to speak about the difference it has made? Or have you experience of giving talks in general and would like to learn more about The Trust? This role could suit you.
