Therapy Month - ​June 2025

What is Therapy Month? 
The Sara Lee Trust's Therapy Month gives local people the opportunity to try ​a complementary therapy or wellbeing class throughout June from a local practitioner in exchange for a donation to The Trust.

The campaign helps to raise funds for The Sara Lee Trust who provide essential care for local people affected by cancer and other life threatening illnesses as well as raising awareness of how therapy can improve lives by having a positive impact on health and wellbeing. 

How can local therapists take part? 
If you work across Hastings and Rother as a:

• ​Complementary Therapist
• Counsellor / Psychotherapist
• Wellbeing or Fitness Instructor

then we would love for you to consider supporting our campaign this June. 

How does it work?

Complementary Therapists and Counsellors
All you have to do is agree to waive fees for some appointments during June 2025 in return for clients making a donation to The Sara Lee Trust. You can donate as many or as few free appointments over the month as they like and we hope that at the same time as raising much-needed funds, the campaign will generate new business for you. Your appointments will be booked directly with you using the contact details you provide, and The Sara Lee Trust quoted to benefit from the promotional offer. The suggested minimum donation is £10 for a half-hour appointment and £20 for an hour. You will collect donations on behalf of the Trust at your pre-booked appointments. 

Wellbeing/Fitness Instructors
All you have to do is agree to waive fees for one class during June 2025 in return for participants making a donation to The Sara Lee Trust. We hope that at the same time as raising much-needed funds, the campaign will also generate new business for you. Participants will book directly with you using the contact details you provide, and you will collect donations on behalf of the Trust. 

​The Trust will promote the campaign and participating therapists across its website, social media pages and through the local press.
