Since 2018, local therapists have raised over £10,000 for The Sara Lee Trust by taking part in Therapy Month, kindly offering appointments throughout June in exchange for a donation to the Trust.

We all live busy lives and it can feel impossible to squeeze in any time for ourselves, but it’s important to our health and wellbeing that we do. Therapy Month is about making some 'Me' time, which not only helps us to relax and de-stress, but it can improve our mood, brain function and overall general health. The double benefit of booking an appointment for Therapy Month is that your donation will also help someone affected by a life threatening illness to receive therapy too.

What is Therapy Month?

The Sara Lee Trust Therapy Month gives you the opportunity to book a complementary therapy, counselling session or beauty treatment throughout June from a local practitioner in exchange for a donation to The Trust.

Can anyone book a session?

Yes, anyone can. All you need to do is book an appointment throughout June with a participating therapist - see the list below.

What happens to my donation?

Your donation will help a local person affected by cancer or a life threatening illness to receive the counselling and therapy they need to enhance their health and wellbeing during possibly one of the worst times in their life.

Contact your therapist of choice directly to book an appointment and quote ‘The Sara Lee Trust Therapy Month’
When you attend your appointment, please give your donation to the therapist. The suggested minimum donation is £10 for a half-hour appointment and £20 for an hour.

Sessions are limited, so book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

A gong bath involves no water but just deeply relaxing sounds using predominantly gongs will wash over you like a bath. The stresses and strains of everyday life can knock our perfect vibrations off balance, the gong with its many under and overtones can rebalance and restore bringing our whole system back into balance.
